Embarcadero Parking& Transportation Study Report & Strategic Analysis Report (SAR) for the Northeast Waterfront:

 

 

  Following is information reported by Susan Lee, Bldg. 2, regarding the Embarcadero Parking & Transportation Study Report & the related Strategic Analysis Report (SAR) for the Northeast Waterfront:

 The San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFTA) has released a Strategic Analysis Report (SAR) for the Northeast Waterfront.  According to Floristine Johnson, Planning & Development Secretary for the Port, “…a preliminary draft of the Embarcadero Study was provided to SFTA staff during the development of the SAR study, which will be presented at an upcoming meeting of the San Francisco Transportation Authority Commission's Citizen's Advisory Committee to be held Wednesday, July 27, 2005;  6:00 - 8:00 pm 100 Van Ness Avenue, 25th Floor, San Francisco.

The TA is accepting written public comments, which should be sent to the attention of :  Tilly Chang or Billy Charlton of the SFTA staff at

 According to Susan, “The Final Embarcadero Study is the traffic study done by the port for the Northeast Waterfront.  Copies can be obtained from Floristine Johnson, Planning & Development Secretary, at 415-274-0553.  Comments on the traffic study are due on July 15.  I suggest that we consolidate our comments and send in at least a single thorough letter from our corner of the world.  Of course, individuals sending in comments of their own would also be helpful.”   

Per Ms. Johnson “The Port recently completed the Embarcadero Parking & Transportation Study, an informational analysis which was developed with the San Francisco Planning Department, Nelson\Nygaard Consulting, and Wilbur Smith and Associates, which  is attached for public review.  This report also will be posted on the Port's website at ww.sfport.com, and will be available in hard copy upon request to Floristine Johnson, Planning & Development Secretary, at 415-274-0553.”  “Questions about the Port's Embarcadero Parking & Transportation Study should be directed to Diane Oshima, Diane.Oshima@sfport.com, 415-274-0553, Although she will be out on vacation from July 5 through July 15th.”
